fonts-sil-sophia-nubian software package provides smart Unicode font family for Nubian languages using Coptic, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-sil-sophia-nubian
fonts-sil-sophia-nubian is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-sil-sophia-nubian package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-sil-sophia-nubian *
You will get with fonts-sil-sophia-nubian package name, version, architecture and description in a table
